Public Service Recognition Week is celebrated each year during the first full week in May. Since 1985, this week honors millions of public employees who make a difference in the lives of their community and serve our nation in federal, state, county, local and tribal government positions.

MSRS would like to recognize and thank Minnesota public employees for the work and services they provide to our communities each and every day. From teachers, firefighters and nurses to social workers, park rangers and many others, public employees are dedicated public servants who keep our communities running across all 87 Minnesota counties. Their hard work, dedication and commitment do not go unnoticed.

Public servants make a difference to all Minnesotans. Participate this week by thanking a public servant in your life for the difference they make and the community they serve.
